Knott's Preserved: From Boysenberry to Theme Park, a History of Knott's Berry Farm has just gone to the printer, and is on a fast track to be ready for the April 24-25 LA Times Festival of Books. It's got over 200 images (many quite rare) and a lot of interesting info on Knotts. Check it out at the Angel City Press booth at the festival (always an amazing, book-lover inspirational event).

We designed this tour booklet for the LA Conservancy's recent driving tour of 1960s commercial buildings. The 24-page booklet includes the five docent stops but also lists dozens of groovy buildings so that you can do a drive-by. The tour is over but the booklet lives on. You can order one from the LA Conservancy Shop and also check out future programs in the series “The Sixties Turn 50” which will be going into mid-2010. The amazing cover image btw (which wraps around to the back) is a not-Photoshopped color photo by Tom Zimmerman.
